HTML to Builderius
Paste any markup, get a module tree you can drop straight onto the Builderius canvas — layers named the way the builder names them, and text kept in one piece.

Pasted like you built it by hand.
The layer panel should read like your markup, not like a stack of anonymous spans.
-
Names stay names
Layers are called
section,div,h2— exactly what Builderius shows when you add them yourself. Classes live in the class list, not in the name. -
Text stays in one piece
A paragraph with a link, a bold word or a line break stays one paragraph. No wrapper spans, no sentence split across five layers.
-
Classes, IDs, attributes
Classes go to the class list, the id to the ID field,
aria-*,data-*,hrefand the rest to attributes. -
Inline styles, editable
style=""moves into the element's own CSS as%local%, so you tweak it in Builderius instead of hunting through attributes. -
SVGs intact
Plain icons land in SVG Code. Sprites, linked or labelled SVGs go to HTML Code — SVG Code would strip their
<use>androle. -
Builderius-safe
[[ ]]in your text is escaped so it isn't read as dynamic data, and decorative images keep their emptyalt.
Three steps to the canvas.
-
Paste your HTML
A section, a component or a whole page — for a full page everything inside
<body>is converted. -
Check the layers
The Layers tab shows the tree you'll get. Notes under the result explain anything kept as HTML Code.
-
Copy and paste
Copy the JSON, select a spot in the Builderius structure panel and press Ctrl + V. Your CSS classes do the rest.
Questions about the converter.
Is my HTML sent anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, and once the page has loaded it works offline.
Which Builderius version does it work with?
It produces the same clipboard format Builderius uses when you copy elements, and is tested with Builderius 1.4. Paste it anywhere in the structure panel with Ctrl + V.
Why are some elements kept as one block of text?
Inline markup — links, <strong>, <em>, <br>, spans inside a sentence — stays inside its paragraph or heading. Splitting a sentence into separate layers breaks spacing and makes the text impossible to edit. Real blocks like sections, cards and lists still become separate layers.
What happens to my CSS?
Class names are kept, so any stylesheet written for them applies as soon as it's in your template or global CSS. Inline style="" moves into each element's own CSS. <style> blocks can be kept as HTML Code or left out — the options menu decides.
Can I convert a whole page?
Yes. Paste the full document and everything inside <body> is converted; the <head> is ignored. For big pages, converting one section at a time keeps the structure panel easier to work with.
Why do some SVGs and images become HTML Code?
Builderius' SVG Code module strips <use>, links and role, and the builder drops empty attributes like alt="". Those few elements are kept as HTML Code so they reach the page exactly as written. The notes under the result tell you when it happens.
